Join our Youth Basketball League for 2nd graders! Teams will practice one day per week (during the week) and have a weekly game on Saturday’s at the Newark YMCA. Volunteer coaches are need to coach the teams along with officiating/running the games. The purpose of this league is to help the players learn more about the rules, strategy, and skills needed to play the game of basketball going forward. Players will be evaluated on their skills and ability level, including shooting, dribbling and passing.
